A pre-occupation with nature , an obsession with avant-garde creatives and  a belief that participation in societal issues makes all the difference describes the unusual interests of Alana Brooks.

Alana Brooks’ studies, personal, professional life have proven to be a reflection of how these interests can converge.

A B. Sc  graduate in Social Sciences from the University of the West Indies and a Master of Architecture graduate from the University of Toronto, Alana Brooks remains involved in the academic environment as an Instructor at two of Barbados' tertiary educational institutions. In addition , Alana seeks to develop a design practice  which harps on the interaction between the arts and the sciences and which enables her to participate and collaborate with the change-makers in society..
